Wow, last night was pretty humbling! I made the Light Chicken and Broccoli casserole for dinner last night (it was pretty terrible, I won’t be sharing this recipe!) and about 15 minutes after I ate dinner, I decided it was a great time to take a 5mile bike ride on a very hilly route! Terrible idea. I made it about ½ way through and after going up one of the many hills, I really thought I was going to throw up. There were a couple of points that I actually considered calling my mom to come and get me lol. BUT I didn’t give up! I kept telling myself, “you’ll feel so much better once you get home and know that you pushed through this”… so I did. I had to walk up ½ of one of the hills (it was a big freakin hill! The one by Lion’s park in Erlanger if you’re familiar) and a police officer actually stopped to remind me that “that thing works better when you pedal”. Hilarious. Once I got home and regained consciousness, I was very happy with myself for completing such a horrendous ride! It wasn’t really the challenge of the route that got to me, although it was challenging, but the fact that my stomach was full of casserole and it was 90 degrees outside lol. At many points in my 5 mile state of nausea, I said to myself, “So THIS is why they say to wait 30 minutes before swimming”. Although next time, I think I’ll just wait to eat until after my ride lol. So other than being nauseas and having a sore bottom today, I really did enjoy riding the bike! It was a little strange at first, I realized that the only bike I’ve ridden in like 10 years is a stationary one… so it took me a minute to get a grip on the whole balance thing. I probably looked like a silly ninny quite a few times, and I think some teenage boys were laughing at me, but I don’t care! I sweat my ass off and burned a whole lot of calories… and that’s what matters, right? J
I went to the gym this morning and for some reason just couldn’t get into the cardio. I was immediately bored and as soon as I stepped on that elliptical, I immediately wanted to get back off. I did a shorter elliptical ride and skipped the bike today (due to sore Netherlands from last night) but had a pretty good ab workout. This is what I did:

I worked up a good sweat and felt good when I left! OH and as you see on the bottom I tested out jogging today! I didn’t have any pain while I was jogging and I’m waiting to see if there’s any aftermath tomorrow morning and if not, I’ll be re-incorporating jogging back into my workout! Yay!
Today is Day 1 of my 10 day Herbal Cleanse. I have high hopes for this thing! My uncle did the same one and he said it worked great and doesn’t make you poop your pants, which was obviously my biggest fear about starting. Lol My goal is to just feel cleaner and lighter… so hopefully that’s what happens J

Turkey Meatloaf w/ salad YUM! I’m so excited, I LOVE meatloaf (as I’ve mentioned 1,000 times J) I’m making a double batch tonight so hopefully I’ll finally have some leftovers! I usually don’t even get the opportunity to have leftovers with my garbage disposal of a husband. (I’m not calling him trashy, just saying he eats a lot J)
Well, tonight I don’t have much on the schedule… probably just bask in the new AIR CONDITIONING that was installed last night! I’m so freakin excited I can’t even explain. It was literally 90degrees in my house before I went on my bike ride last night. Death. Oh and do laundry. That’s what I’ll be doing… laundry.
