Wow – what a weekend! Brief overview:
Friday : Work cookout w/ cornhole tournament (ate a brat, baked beans, fruit and salad) Cookout at mom’s Friday night (burgers, more baked beans and corn)
Saturday: Waterpark with Branden and Nora, cookout at mom’s (grilled pizza [whole wheat crust, all-natural toppings], salad)
Sunday: Sprinkler park with Branden, Nora, mom and Haven, seafood feast at mom’s (scallops, salmon and corn), out for Inez’s bday (WAY too many beers)
Monday: Visit to Branden’s parents’ house, Mexican lunch (fajitas), birthday party for my Aunt Dawn (ate nothing), grocery store and hang out at home
Needless to say, it was very busy and packed FULL with family time! It’s kind of nice to be back to work and in my normal schedule. I didn’t go to the gym this morning b/c I started feeling sick yesterday (super sore throat, runny/stuffy nose) so I took some Nyquil last night and it STILL has me feeling really drowsy. I took some Echinacea, Ibuprofen and Dayquil today… hoping that it will clear-up soon.
Today is my mom’s Birthday so we’re having another family dinner this evening… my mom usually reads my blog so I’m not going to put any specifics today but I’ll fill you in tomorrow J

Although I didn’t have any formal workouts this week, I was still quite active and did my fair amount of sweating. I didn’t get a chance to weigh myself this morning but hope to do so tonight? We’ll see if I remember!
